Thankful on Thanksgiving!

This Thursday is Thanksgiving! I can't wait to eat all the yummy foods that my family makes and watch football! On Friday, I am going down the shore to take the boat out of the water and get it ready for the chilly winter! What are you doing over your break? Tell me about something that you are looking forward to doing, or that you would like to do over your four and a half day break!

"Lenape Lifeways"

Last Friday, October 23rd, Mr. John Kraft from "Lenape Lifeways" visited us to teach us about the Lenape Indians and the history of their way of life here in New Jersey. He showed us many interesting slides, as well as explained many details of their everyday life, such as what they ate, what they wore, etc. Mr. John also shared many of his own artifacts with us and we even got to try on some of the clothing! What was your favorite part of the Lenape assembly? I can't wait to hear what you all have to say!

Welcome Students and Parents of Room 111!

I want to officially welcome the students of Room 111, as well as their parents who are now logging on to our blog from computers all over! This is a very exciting time in technology for us!
